Serra Vocation Awareness and Promotion

This is an advertising program that was developed by Bill Ramsey Associates, Inc., an Omaha, Neb., public relations and advertising firm. This series may be used for publications and other advertising media throughout the country for vocations. Mr. Bill Ramsey, president of the agency, is a longtime member of Serra International and is a the Past President of the USA Council of Serra International.

The USA Council Communications Committee hopes that this series will facilitate your local advertising campaign 12 examples of the ads are shown below. They feature simple, black-and-white ads that contain short vocations messages.

The black-and-white format can be easily adapted for outdoor billboards, posters and other promotional materials. Among the copy lines for the ads are: White Collar Workers Needed; Join Jesus in His Priesthood; Jobs With a Future; Pray, Invite, Encourage, Affirm; God Invites Vocations: You Can Help Close the Deal; and Vocations Don’t Just Happen: Ask Somebody.

Each advertisement is tagged with the line: Serra for Priestly and Religious Vocations and should remain on each advertisement. Feel free to download as many ads as you’d like for your club’s communications goals.
